Travy Azova (Azov Herbs) from the Kherson Region Received a Made in Russia Certificate for its Hawthorn Herbal Tea

October 15, 2025

Travy Azova, a full-cycle manufacturing company from the Henichesk Municipal District of the Kherson Region specializing in natural herbal teas and herbal preparations, has successfully undergone voluntary Made in Russia national brand certification for its Hawthorn herbal tea. The certificate was awarded by Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group).

Travy Azova, a young company, started with hand-picking, manual processing, and packaging of wild plants. The company quickly moved to a new stage. By 2024, it had launched a full processing cycle, from the initial procurement of raw materials to packaging products in filter bags and cardboard boxes under its own brand. Today, Travy Azova produces 18 types of herbal teas based on traditional medicinal plants such as chamomile, mint, St. John's wort, thyme, oregano, and rose hips. All products are certified and undergo strict quality control at all stages of production.

The main advantage of Travy Azova is the use of environmentally friendly, wild-growing ingredients harvested in the natural areas of the Azov region. The company emphasizes natural ingredients, traditional recipes, and modern production. Importantly, the entire production facility runs on solar green energy, thanks to solar panels installed. The herbs and flowers are processed using a technology that preserves their natural potency. Compared to foreign brands, Travy Azova offers a product that is close to the traditional Russian and Eastern European culture of herbal tea consumption, a feature particularly appreciated by discerning consumers.

Made in Russia certificate was awarded to Hawthorn herbal tea, a natural herbal drink produced in the Kherson region. It consists of 100% dried hawthorn berries, weighing 100 grams, packaged in eco-friendly cardboard packaging. This herbal tea is recommended for maintaining normal cardiovascular function.

The company's products are already successfully sold throughout Russia through distributors and marketplaces. The greatest consumer interest has been recorded in Moscow, Omsk, St. Petersburg, Ufa, the Rostov Region, and the Far East.

Since 2024, Travy Azova has been actively developing its export business, focusing on neighboring markets. The company is systematically developing a strategy for entering international markets, participating in forums, business missions, and specialized exhibitions. Preparations are underway to enter the markets of the EAEU, Egypt, the UAE, the Middle East, and Asia, with plans to expand into Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and China.

The company uses the international exhibition calendar to plan its marketing activities and has taken courses at REC School of Export. In 2026, it plans to more actively use My Export platform to find foreign buyers and participate in international exhibitions.

"We expect the Made in Russia certificate to help us promote our products in international markets, confirming their high quality and environmental friendliness. This mark of trust will become an important tool in expanding our presence abroad. For us, it's a kind of 'quality seal' that opens the door to international markets. We hope that with the voluntary Made in Russia certification, we will be able to present our products in national pavilions abroad and participate in various international exhibitions," head of Travy Azova LLC.

Company's plans include significant expansion of production, modernization of production lines, and development of a line of unique herbal preparations, as well as the launch of essential oil production. The company strives to make the Travy Azova brand recognizable not only in Russia but also abroad.

The Made in Russia mark confirms the high standards and quality of products designed and manufactured in the Russian Federation. To get a free Made in Russia certificate, the company does not need to undergo additional checks by Russian Export Center. The certificate is awarded based on five key criteria, namely quality, reliability, uniqueness, environmental friendliness, and organic origin.
