Entrepreneur S.G. Yakubovich produces Siberian organic honey with the Made in Russia certificate

September 24, 2025
Individual entrepreneur Sergey Grigorievich Yakubovich from the Novosibirsk Region was awarded the Made in Russia certificate for the natural organic honey from his family's eco-apiary. This is the only organic honey in Siberia that can be verified in the Organic Atlas of Russia for 2025.

The apiary comprises over 100 bee colonies, collecting nectar from 230 plant species, including medicinal herbs listed on the Russian Red Book. This honey is a true polyfloral product from the meadows, forests, and taiga foothills of the Salair Ridge in the Novosibirsk Region. It has a rich composition and beneficial properties, helping to maintain health and longevity. The individual entrepreneur produces approximately 2.5 tons of honey annually, a weight comparable to that of an adult elephant. Despite this, the exporter plans to double its production, while strictly maintaining high quality and environmental standards.

The apiary is located in an ecologically clean area far from industrial facilities. A team of experienced beekeepers monitors the health of the bees and controls every stage of production to ensure consistent quality. The Yakubovich family's beekeeping traditions are passed down from generation to generation, and a love of nature and respect for the environment are the guiding principles of their work.

The company was registered in 2022. Since 2025, it has been actively working to expand into international markets. Interest in company’s products is greatest in Europe and the Middle East, where demand for organic and natural products is growing. To expand its export opportunities, the company applied to a business mission to Oman and the Gulfood 2026 exhibition on My Export platform powered by Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group).

"We, Sergey and Marina Yakubovich, are eco-beekeepers who preserve and develop the traditions of Russian beekeeping. Our honey is tested by Roskachestvo and laboratories. It is made from the nectar of rare and valuable Siberian plants. The Made in Russia certificate is an important confirmation of quality and an opportunity to present our product abroad," apiary owners.

It's worth noting that a free Made in Russia certificate is an official document confirming the high quality of products designed and manufactured in the Russian Federation. To get it, companies do not need to undergo additional checks by Russian Export Center. They need to submit an application on the REC website, upload the required documents electronically, and sign the automatically generated form. For more detailed information about the Made in Russia program and the requirements for obtaining the certificate please visit the REC website.

Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) is a government institution that supports non-resource, non-energy export. It provides companies from various industries with both financial and non-financial assistance at all stages of entering international markets, including as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. Most services offered by the REC Group are available online on My Export digital platform. REC is also responsible for organizing and supporting the Made in Russia program.
