Kaluga Region's Export Potential was Discussed at the Vector for Export. Made in Russia International Forum

On November 28, Alexander Molodtsov, Vice President of Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group), visited the Kaluga Region, where he participated in the opening of the Vector for Export. Made in Russia International Forum. The forum served as a platform for discussing prospects and new opportunities for Russian exporters. "We at REC are aware that the success of domestic exporters is a true national treasure and a source of pride. They are the face of the Russian economy, demonstrating its strength, adaptability, and high-quality products, conveying to the world the image of a modern and competitive Russia," Alexander Molodtsov, REC Vice President, at the forum's opening ceremony. For example, over the first 10 months of 2025, as part of joint work with the Kaluga Region, 117 unique participants in foreign trade activities received support from REC, and the volume of supported export reached $12 million. The event was attended by Kaluga Region Governor Vladislav Shapsha, Indonesian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Russian Federation Morato Tavares José Antonio, President of the ANO House of Africa Serge Phoсas Odunlami, and Chairman of the Russian-Arab Business Council Sergey Gorkov. The forum brought together partners from around the world, including business leaders, government officials, and experts from Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Oman, Côte d'Ivoire, Turkmenistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and other friendly countries. At the Hot Markets: New Sides of Export plenary session, Alexander Molodtsov discussed the Made in Russia promotion program, emphasizing its role in increasing the recognition and competitiveness of domestic products abroad. "This year, by government decree, the Program for Promoting Russian Products under the Made in Russia National Brand received renewed federal status. Its mission is to create a positive image and help companies expand their sales. We are open to joint initiatives with the regions, including signing agreements and voluntary certification for direct access for companies to international partners and exhibitions," Alexander Molodtsov. REC Vice President called on companies to scale up and make more active use of the REC Group's distribution infrastructure. Kaluga Region Governor Vladislav Shapsha, in turn, emphasized that the Kaluga Region is actively developing international economic cooperation. The region's foreign trade volume increased by almost 13% in the first nine months of this year, and Kaluga goods are exported to 70 countries.
