The agreement aims to create favorable conditions for export activities in the Republic of Dagestan. The document was signed by Veronika Nikishina, General Director, Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group), and Sergey Melikov, Head of the Republic of Dagestan. The parties will now collaborate to increase Republic's export potential and develop effective government support measures.
"We recognize and highly value Dagestan's efforts to develop export and plan to strengthen our support for the region using the full range of REC tools. In 2025, we provided over 150 services to 84 companies in Dagestan, and hope this agreement will increase the scope of support and the number of companies enjoying such support," Veronika Nikishina.
"The most important tasks today are achieving the national goal of increasing non-resource, non-energy exports and developing an effective system of state incentives for foreign economic activity. Dagestan is currently actively expanding into non-CIS markets while simultaneously strengthening cooperation with CIS countries. Therefore, it is crucial for us that regional companies have access to REC's support tools," Sergey Melikov.
The agreement also aims to promote the Made in Russia brand and increase the number of regional companies participating in the program. It’s worth noting that on March 6, during Dagestan Republic Day, three more companies completed the Made in Russia voluntary certification process.
Russian Export Center provides companies from various industries with both financial and non-financial assistance at all stages of entering international markets, including as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. Most services offered by the REC Group are available online on My Export digital platform. REC is responsible for the primary functions of supporting and implementing the Made in Russia program. The REC Group includes the Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR), EXIMBANK of RUSSIA, and the Export School.
