A delegation from Russian Export Center (REC, part of the VEB.RF Group) and foreign buyers learned about the production capabilities of North Ossetian enterprises during the At Heights procurement session held in Vladikavkaz. The main goal of the visit was to strengthen business ties and facilitate local companies' entry into international markets.
"North Ossetia has significant export potential, and our goal is to help the region's businesses realize it effectively. During meetings with manufacturers, we not only showcase their products to foreign partners but also help them adapt to the requirements of foreign markets—from certification to logistics," Natalia Minaeva, Director for the Development of Regional Export Support Infrastructure at REC.
The procurement session events were organized by the Republic's Export Support Center with the methodological support from Russian Export Center. The procurement session events included business meetings between Russian entrepreneurs and potential foreign buyers.
Nineteen buyers from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Iran, Georgia, and South Ossetia arrived in North Ossetia to find reliable Russian suppliers in the agricultural sector and conclude contracts for high-quality products. They will hold negotiations with SME representatives from nine Russian regions.
Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) is a state institution that supports non-resource, non-energy export. It provides companies from various industries with both financial and non-financial assistance at all stages of entering international markets, including as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. Most services offered by the REC Group are available online on My Export state-run digital platform. REC is also responsible for the key functions of supporting and implementing the Made in Russia program.
