REC is stepping up efforts to expand the network of Russian national pavilions in China

January 16, 2026
A working meeting was held at Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) with a delegation from China. The delegation included representatives of Beijing Fushi Trading Co., the newly selected operator for the Russian national pavilion in the People's Republic of China. The company was appointed to operate in part of China alongside the existing pavilion operator, Ehaibao. The parties discussed the strategy for developing Russian business presence in China's provinces and signed a cooperation agreement. In order to implement and develop the Russian national pavilion program in the People's Republic of China, Russian Export Center has selected the Beijing Fushi Trading Co. as the second authorized operator in the provinces of Gansu, Guizhou, Hubei, Hunan, Henan, Qinghai, and Yunnan, as well as the autonomous regions of Guangxi Zhuang, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia Hui, Xinjiang Uyghur, and Tibet, and the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau. The agreement signed with the company is intended to promote and facilitate sales of Russian products in the designated territory of China. Beijing Fushi Trading Co. is currently preparing for the expedited launch of the Russian national pavilion in China, which will be located in Henan Province. REC's Russian National Pavilions program abroad is a tool for promoting domestic products under the Made in Russia umbrella brand. The pavilions operate as multifunctional venues where foreign distributors, business associations, and end consumers can not only explore a wide range of Russian goods but also conduct product tastings and conclude direct export contracts. Such venues are already successfully operating in China, Vietnam, Egypt, the UAE, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and India, bringing together over 170 Russian manufacturers. The main event of the meeting was the ceremony for signing an agreement to assist in the promotion of Russian food, industrial products, and services. According to the document, the new operator will promote Russian manufacturers and develop the Made in Russia brand and the Russian National Pavilion not only in major cities but also in a number of strategically important regions of China. The document was signed by Alexey Solodov, Vice President of Russian Export Center, and Jiang Ruitao, Deputy General Director of Beijing Fushi Trading Co. As confirmation of their authority, the new partner was presented with an official letter granting the status of operator of the Russian national pavilion in the aforementioned territory of China. "The Chinese market is an absolute priority for us, but competition here requires not only high-quality exporters, but also a constant physical presence. The program of Russian national pavilions is steadily developing, transforming from demonstration sites into full-fledged entry points for our business. We see that in China, naturalness, environmental friendliness and transparency of the origin of goods are especially appreciated — everything that the Made in Russia brand embodies. We expect that the Operator of the pavilion, represented by the Beijing Fushi Trading Co., will help our companies build effective logistics and marketing chains in various parts of China, ensuring the recognition of our products in regions where demand for high-quality imports is growing at a faster pace," Alexey Solodov, Vice President, REC. The pavilion operator will provide exporters with comprehensive support: from building B2B communications, concluding export contracts, and participating in regional exhibitions to placing products on the shelves of major retail chains and online platforms. Companies who are interested in entering the markets of China and other countries where the REC pavilion network is present can apply on the official website. It’s worth noting that various services are also available to companies wishing to enter the Chinese market on My Export digital platform. This platform provides co-financing for logistics costs, analytical reports, and permits. Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) is a government institution that supports non-resource and non-energy exports. It provides companies from various industries with both financial and non-financial support at all stages of entering international markets, including as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. Most services offered by the REC Group are available online on My Export digital platform. Businesses have access to training on all aspects of export activities through the REC Export School, part of the Group. REC is also responsible for the key functions of supporting and implementing the Made in Russia program.
