On May 22, a business mission under the auspices of the Made in Russia national brand began its work in Ulaanbaatar. 37 companies arrived in Mongolia with the support of Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group).
The companies present potential partners with agro- and industrial, textile, mechanical engineering products, as well as solutions for construction, infrastructure, urban environment, and information technologies.
For example, KRZ from Ryazan, multi-industry manufacturing company, demonstrates soft roofing and waterproofing materials to partners; KARAT Scientific and Production Association discusses the supply of metering devices and digital solutions for energy, housing and communal services and construction sectors; Food Team and Lunskoye More communicate with distributors and wholesale buyers interested in importing fish and seafood products, and Rich Chemical promotes road construction materials in Mongolia, namely repair polymer-acrylic mixture, anti-icing agent, cold plastics for road markings, etc.
Over the two days, REC has planned to hold more than 200 business negotiations.
"The first business mission to Mongolia was organized by REC in September 2024. At that time, the potential of the business negotiations exceeded $29 million. Companies already signed contracts on the sidelines of the mission for the supply of air conditioners, gaming equipment, dairy products, as well as for cooperation in the field of information technology. REC provides comprehensive support to the participants of the business mission, organizes negotiations with potential foreign partners and offers financial support measures," Tatyana An, Vice President, REC.
