United Russia has become a partner of the Russian Export Center’s program to promote the Made in Russia national brand

United Russia Party and Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) will join efforts to implement the Program for the Promotion of Russian Products Abroad under the Made in Russia umbrella brand. The corresponding agreement was signed on July 24 in Moscow by Secretary of the General Council of the party Vladimir Yakushev and General Director of REC Veronika Nikishina.

The partnership is aimed at implementing the strategic goal set by the President of Russia to increase the volume of non-resource, non-energy export by at least two-thirds by 2030 compared to 2023.

The cooperation will primarily cover party projects aimed at developing small and medium-sized businesses, supporting domestic manufacturers and promoting Russian goods. Joint efforts will also include consulting entrepreneurs, involving regional companies in voluntary Made in Russia certification, educational programs and best practices.

"Today, Russia can lay claim to global leadership in a variety of areas, from organic food to unmanned systems development. To do this, we need to effectively protect the domestic market, support domestic manufacturers, create conditions for them to grow and enter international markets. I believe that United Russia and Russian Export Center can do more in all above said areas. Russian Export Center has unique expertise and tools. And United Russia has a powerful political resource for decision-making at both legislative and executive levels, and a wide network of international contacts that allow us to promote Russian interests," Vladimir Yakushev.

According to Vladimir Yakushev, United Russia, together with Russian Export Center, will build a unified system for export support throughout the country and inform businesses about various training opportunities.

"One of the key instruments for supporting non-resource, non-energy export is the Made in Russia program by Russian Export Center. The program ensures comprehensive promotion of export and our soft power, which is implemented through exhibitions, online trade, educational programs and certification. Since 2022, thanks to the program's activities, businesses have managed to conclude export contracts worth over 420 billion rubles. Our cooperation with United Russia will allow us to combine efforts in implementing the program's activities and promoting the Made in Russia brand, the only national brand that is a guarantee of quality," Veronika Nikishina, General Director, Russian Export Center.

The Made in Russia program is implemented within the framework of the International Cooperation and Export national project. It is coordinated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, and the main functions for ensuring and implementing the program are assigned to Russian Export Center. The Russian Export Center has been promoting the Made in Russia national brand since 2017.

In 2025, the Government, by the order of the President, adopted an updated Made in Russia program, which expanded the list of available promotion tools. New formats have emerged, such as Made in Russia festivals and fairs, which help introduce food products, kids’ goods and so on to foreign buyers.

Over the past three years, more than 3,700 unique companies have benefited from the program's support. For example, Abi and Plodoimport managed to increase exports after participating in exhibitions and business missions under the auspices of Made in Russia, Karelskoye Leto signed its first contract to export to China after placing products in national Made in Russia stores on marketplaces, and Loshadinaya Sila brand managed to sell products worth 11 million rubles in a 10-seconds stream with a Chinese blogger.

The program includes the Made in Russia voluntary certification (“bird" sign in the colors of the Russian flag). Companies can receive a certificate of compliance in one of five categories, namely reliability, uniqueness, organic origin, quality and environmental friendliness. Today, over 20,000 SKUs have successfully confirmed compliance with such criteria.
