Ramensky Confectionery Plant has been awarded the Made in Russia certificate for its flagship Baker House desserts

Ramensky Confectionery Plant, a major Russian confectionery manufacturer with over 25 years of history, has successfully completed voluntary certification for the Made in Russia national brand from Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group). The certificate, in the reliability category, confirms the high quality and Russian origin of a wide range of sponge cakes, pastries, and mini-tarts produced under the renowned BAKER HOUSE brand.

Founded in 1999, Ramensky Confectionery Plant currently operates two production sites: in the Moscow and the Samara regions. Its product range includes a variety of sponge cakes, mini tarts, mini pastries, Italian desserts, German and shortbread pies, as well as crispbreads and breadsticks. The company focuses on high-quality raw materials, implements innovative approaches, and engages the best Russian and international technologists to develop recipes. The company's food safety management system is certified according to the international ISO 22000:2005 standard.

The plant began to export in 2003, and over the past 22 years, its export geography has expanded to 28 countries. Despite objective challenges such as sanctions, exchange rate fluctuations, problems with foreign exchange, and logistics, it continues to actively develop its international business. Today, products are supplied to Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Afghanistan, Belarus, Germany, Georgia, Israel, Iraq, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Libya, Moldova, Mongolia, the United Arab Emirates, Palestine, North Macedonia, the United States, Serbia, the Seychelles, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Estonia. The largest export markets are Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.

The Made in Russia certificate applies to a wide range of popular BAKER HOUSE products, including sponge cakes, pastries with various fillings, and mini tarts.

The company actively utilizes government support measures to develop its foreign economic activity. It collaborates with Russian Export Center, specifically, using services to obtain a phytosanitary certificate for the UAE and participating in an exhibition and fair in Abu Dhabi. The company applied for certificates on My Export platform.

"Increasing export volumes, expanding sales geography in the face of serious external challenges, and entering new markets is crucial, and government support is of paramount importance here," company's management.

The company plans to continue increasing supply volumes to existing markets and expanding its export geography to countries in the Middle East, Africa, and India.

"The Made in Russia certificate gives us a unique opportunity to receive informational and marketing support, participate in business meetings, forums, and international exhibitions. This increases consumer and partner trust, strengthens our brand image, and facilitates our entry into retail chains and marketplaces." Company's management expresses confidence that the bird mark will become a powerful tool for promoting Russian quality abroad.

The Made in Russia mark confirms the high standards and quality of products developed and manufactured in the Russian Federation. To receive a free Made in Russia certificate, a company does not need to undergo additional checks by Russian Export Center. The certificate is awarded based on five key criteria, namely quality, reliability, uniqueness, environmental friendliness, and organic origin.
