REC will expand the geography of promotion Made in Russia national brand

Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) continues to implement a comprehensive program to promote the Made in Russia national brand on the world market. By the end of 2025, REC plans to hold more than 20 foreign events under the auspices of Made in Russia and expand the brand's infrastructural presence abroad. This was stated by REC General Director Veronika Nikishina at the session Made in Russia. Russian Export Code in the Global Economy at SPIEF-2025.

Thus, the key events this year will be the Made in Russia festivals and fairs in Beijing (PRC) and Thailand. REC also plans to hold a gastronomic festival in the United Arab Emirates, where the first Made in Russia festival and fair outside of China took place in February this year.

A highlight of the year will be the annual Made in Russia international export forum, which will be held in October in Moscow and will bring together representatives of business, regions, development institutions and foreign partners. "By the end of 2025, we plan to significantly strengthen our presence and expand the scope of events to promote the Made in Russia brand and Russian products. Through exhibitions, business missions, fairs, stores and unique promotional events, we are creating a sustainable platform of trust for our products on international markets. In September, we plan to hold the Made in Russia festival-fair in Beijing, and in November - in Thailand. We are also working on other promotion formats and piloting projects on the markets of other promising countries," Veronika Nikishina, REC CEO. The head of REC also said that as part of the development of trade infrastructure, REC will continue to work with foreign partners to open new national stores and shelves with Made in Russia products in foreign retail chains. More than 100 sites and projects are being developed. In particular, REC plans to expand the Made in Russia retail chain in China, where there are already 13 stores, and go beyond China and open points of sale for Russian products in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

At the same time, large-scale work is underway to strengthen business ties between Russian companies and foreign partners. Since the beginning of 2025, REC has organized national expositions at eight international exhibitions in the UAE, India, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Morocco, China and Saudi Arabia. Three multi-industry business missions were also held under the auspices of Made in Russia in Indonesia, Mongolia and Egypt. 327 domestic companies took part in the events. By the end of 2025, business events and exhibitions are planned in Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Iran, Kazakhstan and Algeria.

"The results of the events already held this year are export contracts and retail sales worth more than 2 billion rubles. We expect a multiple increase in portfolio by the end of the year,” Veronika Nikishina.

Business missions, Made in Russia national expositions, Made in Russia festivals and fairs and other events are implemented within the framework of the Made in Russia national brand promotion program adopted by the Russian Government on the instructions of the President. The program is coordinated within the framework of the International Cooperation and Export national project by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, and the main functions for its implementation are assigned to the Russian Export Center.
