Thirty-two Russian IT companies are represented under the Made in Russia national brand at GITEX, the largest international IT exhibition. The exhibition opened on October 13 in Dubai, UAE. The national stand is organized by Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group). The exhibition runs until October 17.
This year, the Russian national stand occupied 200 square meters. Russian developers presented potential partners from the Middle East with cutting-edge solutions in information security, digitalization of various economic sectors, ICT equipment, and much more.
For example, SI CURE offered a platform for training employees in cybersecurity skills. One of the main vulnerabilities in information security risk management is the human factor, insufficient awareness of rules, forgetfulness, and sometimes disparagement. These gaps can seriously weaken a company's security and make it vulnerable to cyberthreats. According to the developers, after training, employees are 10-25 times less likely to fall victim to cyberattacks.
UAVPROF School of Unmanned Aviation promoted the domestic UAVProf Drone Simulator at GITEX. This software is designed to train unmanned aircraft system operators. Training takes place in a safe, virtual environment. This simulator is already in use in Nigeria, Kuwait, and India.
At the Made in Russia booth, visitors could also experience immersive AR and VR products from ANDY, including a marketplace for immersive tours and an AI platform for mental health support. Since 2006, the team has implemented over 200 projects for industry leaders, covering innovative tourism, digital education, the oil and gas industry, and medicine. The company is preparing to enter international markets, with a focus on the SCO, BRICS, and the Middle East.
Another exhibitor was Galileosky, a developer and manufacturer of professional terminals for satellite vehicle monitoring. Galileosky satellite monitoring terminals are GPS/GLONASS trackers for smart vehicle monitoring. They transmit vehicle location information even in remote taiga areas, monitor fuel consumption and engine performance, control cameras and sensors, and provide warnings about breakdowns. The company is already actively working with MENA countries and South America.
Finally, potential partners could evaluate developments in interactive television, smart home controllers, and sophisticated equipment for telecom operators from Imaqliq Service. The developer also presented a hardware and software system designed for dynamic control and monitoring of liquid petroleum product consumption. The company already has significant experience working with the UAE, and participation in the exhibition will help expand partnerships and strengthen its position in the Middle East market.
Russian Export Center (REC) provides significant support to participants in the national exhibition. Businesses receive 100% co-financing for event space rental, as well as expenses for temporary infrastructure, information promotion, administration, and event organization. REC conducts targeted searches for potential partners for Russian companies and supports them at every stage.
The schedule of business missions and international exhibitions that exporters can participate in with the support of Russian Export Center is available on the Events page on My Export digital platform.
