Made in Russia at INNOPROM. Central Asia: the largest Made in Russia national exposition opened in Tashkent
On April 28, Tashkent hosted Big Industrial Week - INNOPROM. Central Asia. It is a key event aimed to develop trade and industrial cooperation in the Central Asian region. At CAEx exhibition center, Made in Russia national exhibition uniting 51 companies and their solutions was launched backed by Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group).
This year, Russian exposition with an area of 923 sq. m. became the largest among all foreign participants and the second largest after the national exposition of Uzbekistan. 51 companies from 23 regions of Russia present reliable and high-quality products under the Made in Russia brand.
The Made in Russia exposition was attended by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Xodjaev.
The delegation, in particular, assessed the airboat by Sever Krasnoyarsk amphibious plant. Amphibious transport is widely used in mining and oil and gas industries, in regions with sever climate and terrain conditions. Airboats and all-terrain vehicles are well known in Siberia, the Far East and the Arctic, and in some places have already become the basic transport. Siberian amphibians are also in significant demand on the world market. The export geography covers the near and far abroad, including the UAE and Bangladesh.
Besides, the Made in Russia stand featured an AC charging station by PSS Corporation, designed in Russia; samples of a drilling rig by Bur-Instrument Export, which is already actively used in geological exploration and uranium mining in Uzbekistan; a centrifugal concentrator for highly efficient extraction of precious and rare metals by Service Technoprom.
Among other exhibition participants there were Genesis M, manufacturer of polymer compounds based on polyolefins, SKB EP, enterprise involved in diagnostics of electrical equipment, Ufagidromash, manufacturer of oilfield equipment, Arnest.UniRus, the largest manufacturer of household chemicals and cosmetics, GuideSystems, supplier of metallurgical equipment and components, Enerpred , manufacturer of hydraulic equipment, KAMAZ, Russia's largest automobile corporation, NPO KARAT, developer of metering devices for energy, housing and communal services and construction, NPF Meta-Chrom, manufacturer of gas chromatographs, Profi Group, manufacturer of specialized machines, MEDLIGHT, manufacturer of innovative boards and materials from tempered glass, and other companies.
Each company enjoyed comprehensive support from REC, who also selected potential partners for the enterprises. It is planned that over the three days of the exhibition, participants in the Russian exposition will hold more than 200 negotiations with representatives of business and government agencies of Uzbekistan and other countries.
"Such events contribute to strengthening trade and economic relations between Russia and Uzbekistan. These relations are indeed developing at a very significant pace: according to the results of last year, mutual trade between two countries reached $10.2 billion. And it is important that today at the exhibition high-tech companies of Russia and Uzbekistan are discussing not only the formats of trade partnership, but also cooperation projects for the creation of production facilities in Uzbekistan," Roman Chekushov, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia.
"Support for Russian companies in Central Asia is one of the priority areas of activity of the Russian Export Center Group. We note the sustainable strengthening of industrial cooperation with the states in the region and provide support to such projects at all stages, including using insurance mechanisms. In 2024 alone, the volume of transactions between Russian and Uzbek companies that we supported exceeded $2 billion. We see prospects for increasing the export of products from mechanical engineering, construction, chemical and pharmaceutical companies, as well as opportunities for further development of industrial cooperation," Nikita Gusakov, REC Senior Vice President.
It should be noted that this is the third Made in Russia national exposition in five years of INNOPROM exhibition in Tashkent. Previously, Russian manufacturers presented their achievements in 2022 and 2023. Participation of Russian companies in INNOPROM. Central Asia is aimed at promoting high-tech Russian products to the markets of Central Asia, expanding business ties and finding new partners.
