REC and Mordovia signed an agreement on joint promotion of the Made in Russia brand

Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) and Export Support Center of the Republic of Mordovia signed a license agreement to cooperate in promoting the Made in Russia national brand and using REC trademarks. The document was signed by REC Vice President Tatyana An and the Director of the Export Support Center of Mordovia, Alexey Borodin.

The agreement expands opportunities for promoting domestic products abroad and strengthens national brand recognition. Now, the Mordovia Export Support Center will be able to use the Made in Russia brand on its digital resources, at international exhibitions and fairs, and at other public events.

"Through this agreement, we are combining our efforts to promote and develop awareness of the Made in Russia national brand, enhance the competitiveness of our products, and increase export volumes in target markets. Mordovian companies will have even more opportunities to promote themselves under the Made in Russia brand, which continues to gain increasing trust among our international partners," Tatyana An, Vice President of Russian Export Center.

The Made in Russia program includes voluntary certification available to companies in all non-resource export sectors. Obtaining the certificate grants the right to label products with an international quality mark and enjoy additional promotional tools abroad. Twelve companies from Mordovia have already confirmed their compliance with the program requirements and received the certificate.

"A strong Made in Russia brand opens up enormous opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses to enter new markets. For Mordovia companies, this is a real chance to establish themselves and strengthen their position on the international stage," Alexey Borodin, head of Mordovia Export Support Center.

Made in Russia program is being implemented as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. It is coordinated by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Russian Export Center is responsible for the program's implementation and delivery. In 2025, the government, at the instruction of the President, adopted an updated Made in Russia program, which expanded the range of tools for promoting Russian products abroad.

Since 2022, thanks to the program's activities, over 3,700 companies have been able to increase their visibility, find partners and buyers, and gain a foothold in foreign markets. Export contracts worth over 420 billion rubles have been signed.
