United Russia supports the state program for promoting the Made in Russia national brand, which is implemented by Russian Export Center (VEB.RF Group). The key directions for the development of non-resource, non-energy exports as a strategic driver of technological leadership and increasing Russia's global competitiveness were discussed by Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the Party's General Council, and Veronika Nikishina, REC CEO.
The meeting participants noted that supporting this direction is a foundation for the development and sovereignty of the domestic economy, as well as an important source for increasing federal and regional budget revenues. This, in turn, creates conditions for the formation of high-paying jobs, development of social infrastructure, and an improvement in the quality of life for the population.
The national goals, approved by the President of Russia until 2030, envisage an increase of at least two-thirds in the volume of non-resource goods exports. This is an ambitious goal that will be an important step towards ensuring the country's financial sovereignty.
When discussing the main needs of export-oriented enterprises, Vladimir Yakushev noted that United Russia supports the state program for promoting the Made in Russia national brand.
"Russian goods have already replaced Western brands and feel confident in the domestic market. 75% of Russians today choose domestic goods instead of imported ones. This increase in demand is due, in part, to the Choose Domestic Products project. Now it's time to introduce Russian goods to foreign consumers," Secretary of the General Council of United Russia.
Today, domestic products are successfully represented in more than 180 international markets thanks to the active promotion of the Made in Russia brand. The symbol of this initiative is the recognizable ‘bird’ in the colors of the Russian flag, which has become a mark of quality and reliability for Russian goods abroad
