Mongolian business assessed Made in Russia products and solutions
Participants of the business mission under the auspices of the Made in Russia national brand held more than 270 meetings with potential partners from Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar. The business mission was organized by Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group). It took place on May 22 and 23.
Representatives of more than 30 companies from different regions of Russia took part in the business trip.
The companies present potential partners with agro- and industrial, textile, mechanical engineering products, as well as solutions for construction, infrastructure, urban environment, and information technologies.
For example, KRZ from Ryazan, multi-industry manufacturing company, demonstrates soft roofing and waterproofing materials to partners; KARAT Scientific and Production Association discusses the supply of metering devices and digital solutions for energy, housing and communal services and construction sectors; Food Team and Lunskoye More communicate with distributors and wholesale buyers interested in importing fish and seafood products, and Rich Chemical promotes road construction materials in Mongolia, namely repair polymer-acrylic mixture, anti-icing agent, cold plastics for road markings, etc.
During the two-day mission, the participants discussed cooperation opportunities with more than 90 partners from Mongolia: representatives of distribution companies, traders, developers, industry associations and business circles. Off-site meetings were also organized for exporters in the offices of the Ulaanbaatar Railway, Ulaanbaatar City Hall, Ministry of Economic Development of Mongolia, Ministry of Energy of Mongolia and some companies.
According to business estimates, the export potential of the negotiations exceeds $13 million. Mongolian business and the public sector highly appreciated Russian products and solutions. Some companies have already signed cooperation agreements during the business mission.
In particular, Minimax-94, Moscow-based company, presented an automatic weather station that predicts adverse natural phenomena. Such a station is used, for example, in agriculture to determine the optimal time for sowing and harvesting and to monitor weather conditions that directly affect the harvest. The station is also used in the road industry to prevent dangerous weather phenomena such as snow, ice, snowstorms, strong winds, etc.
Already on the first day of the business mission, the company concluded a cooperation agreement with a partner from Mongolia. Minimax-94 also participated in the first business mission to Mongolia last year. Then, it established the first contacts with local enterprises.
KARAT, Scientific and Production Association, which manufactures metering devices and digital solutions for energy, housing and communal services and construction sectors, also managed to sign a cooperation agreement. The company already exports its solutions to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.
It’s worth noting that organizing business missions abroad is one of the most popular measures of state support. REC provides mission participants with comprehensive organizational and expert support, co-finances expenses, searches for potential foreign partners and organizes negotiations with them. The schedule of business missions is available on the Events page on the My Export digital platform.
