Individual entrepreneur from the Altai Krai was awarded the Made in Russia certificate for natural honey

The beekeeping farm of Gennady Evgenievich Ivanov, an individual entrepreneur, from the village of Togul, Togulsky District, Altai Krai, became the holder of the national Made in Russia certificate in the “organic origin” category for natural honey, known to consumers under the Dary Salaira brand.

The farm has existed for over 20 years and provides residents of Siberia, the Far East and Kamchatka with high-quality honey from the protected Altai taiga. The main apiaries are located on the territory of the Salair National Park, a specially protected natural zone with a unique biotope and relict plants preserved from the pre-glacial period.

The company's products are distinguished by their ecological purity and unique varieties: angelica honey, Siberian linden and taiga honey with record diastase activity (25–40+ Gote units*). Angelica honey is valued by gourmets for its complex taste and unique medicinal properties, comparable to the famous manuka honey. Siberian linden honey is a rare product collected by bees from ancient linden trees growing in the untouched forests of Salair. Taiga honey is the "gold" of the taiga, the product is distinguished by its high biological activity.

Currently, individual entrepreneur Ivanov is preparing to register in the Cifer system to export products to China and plans to expand supplies to international markets, including South Korea, Germany, Serbia, Saudi Arabia and India. Despite the high competition, the company's representatives are confident that they will be able to effectively convey the value and uniqueness of their product to foreign consumers.

"State support and the Made in Russia certificate allow small businesses to boldly go abroad. Export activities are not only an opportunity to earn money, but also a chance to tell the world about truly unique products of our land - such as angelica honey from the Altai taiga," Gennady Ivanov, head of the beekeeping farm.

The Made in Russia certificate opens up new opportunities for the company to participate in international events, enter B2B platforms and place products in demonstration pavilions of Russian Export Center. According to Gennady Ivanov, the "bird" sign increases trust in the products and attracts attention of buyers, distributors and HoReCa segment in foreign markets.

The company continues to actively use the services of Russian Export Center, in particular, those presented on My Export platform, and participates in training events and consultations. As a result, preparations are currently underway to conclude the first export contracts. The plans include entering the markets of at least ten countries within five years with an annual export volume of about 500 tons of natural honey.

The Made in Russia certificate is an official document confirming the high standards and level of products developed and manufactured in the Russian Federation. To obtain it, a company does not need to undergo additional checks by Russian Export Center. It needs to submit an application on the REC website, attaching the necessary documents electronically, and sign the automatically generated questionnaire. *Diastase number is an indicator of the content of enzyme diastase in honey, which breaks down starch. The higher the number (from 7 to 50 Gote units), the better quality, more natural and healthier the honey is. It depends on the region, plants and honey processing. It is measured in Gote units.
