On May 16, in Suifenhe, Heilongjiang Province, China, Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) together with Chinese partners opened the first warehouse distribution center under the Made in Russia brand. It became the basis for creating a reliable logistics infrastructure aimed at organizing sustainable supplies of Russian food products, which REC promotes through the network of Russian national pavilions in China.
The total area of the warehouse distribution center in Suifenhe is 4,600 square meters. The warehouse already contains more than 900 SKUs from 70 Russian manufacturers who participate in the state promotion program through the Russian national pavilion. The main pavilion is open in Shanghai, other Made in Russia stores are located in Harbin, Chengdu, Shenzhen and Shenyang.
"The warehouse creates optimal conditions for storing high-quality products from Russian exporters. This is a key link in the supply chain, which will allow to establish uninterrupted supply for developing Made in Russia retail chain in China," Alexey Solodov, Vice President of the Russian Export Center.
Russian national pavilion helps Russian companies establish business contacts in China, increase brand awareness among consumers (for example, through promotions in retail chains and marketplaces), conclude export contracts and arrange product deliveries. The opening of a warehouse distribution center in Suifenhe will give Russian companies additional opportunities to strengthen their positions and expand their presence across China.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of Russian Export Center, Heilongjiang Transport and Investment Company, Treasure of the Russian Sea Heilongjiang Trading Company, the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia in China, Dmitry Klishin, representatives of Chinese and Russian businesses.
On May 17, as part of the promotion program of the Made in Russia national brand, a retail store with the relevant products will open in Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang Province. It will be the seventh retail store of the Russian national pavilion network.
