Made in Russia certificate holders will be awarded additional scores in the National Organic Competition
Made in Russia certificate holders from Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) will be awarded additional scores in the National Organic Competition, which is held by the Federation Council jointly with the Russian Ministry of Agriculture and Roskachestvo with the support of the Organic Foundation.
This will become an innovation starting next year, when the fifth National Organic Competition will be held. It is aimed at supporting domestic manufacturers of high-quality and environmentally friendly products that meet national standards.
The National Organic Competition is a prestigious platform for recognizing and promoting the best organic products made in Russia. Additional scores for holders of the Made in Russia certificate will be a significant advantage when evaluating products and will increase their odds of winning.
The Made in Russia certificate is issued for free a voluntary basis in five areas: quality, environmental friendliness, organicity, reliability and uniqueness. To obtain the certificate, the company and its products are not subject to additional checks by REC. The application process is simple and convenient: you need to register on the REC website, attach the necessary documents in electronic form and sign the automatically generated questionnaire. More information about Made in Russia can be found on the REC website.
"The Made in Russia certificate is not just a confirmation of quality and compliance of products with high standards that are valued all over the world. Products marked this way deserve special attention, and we are glad that now the certificate will be taken into account when assessing products participating in the National Organic Competition," Veronika Nikishina, General Director, Russian Export Center.
In 2025, the Made in Russia certificate already provided the competition participants with a competitive advantage and served as an additional selection criterion when the total score of several applicants was equal. For example, in the New Organic Product for Processors category, the winner was IP Klishchenko O.A. from the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. The entrepreneur supplies pickled porcini mushrooms holding the Made in Russia certificate.
"Roskachestvo has historically been a partner of Russian Export Center in implementing the program to promote the Made in Russia national brand. Many holders of the state Quality Mark and other markings, operated by Roskachestvo, have already received the Made in Russia certificate. We are confident that our cooperation in the National Organic Competition will help identify and support the most promising manufacturers who not only care about the quality and safety of their products, but also contribute to the development of sustainable agriculture," Maxim Protasov, Head of Roskachestvo.
