The fair, which will be held in the capital of Heilongjiang Province for the second time, will allow Chinese enterprises to assess Russian products and discuss the possibility of organizing their supplies with manufacturers.
More than 70 Chinese companies will hold business negotiations with Russian enterprises at the Made in Russia festival and fair, which Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) will hold in Harbin (PRC) from May 17 to 21. The fair, which will be held in the capital of Heilongjiang Province for the second time, will allow Chinese enterprises to assess Russian consumer products and discuss in detail the possibilities of organizing their supplies with manufacturers.
Large trading companies and distributors from different regions of China expressed their desire to visit the Made in Russia fair and strengthen cooperation with Russian enterprises. A webinar was held in Harbin on the eve of the fair, where REC specialists spoke about the advantages of the products that will be presented on the shelves, the possibilities of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with Russian manufacturers and financial support measures that will improve the efficiency of export operations.
"The Chinese market is currently the largest in the world, and REC is working to create favorable conditions for Russian companies to enter it, taking into account its specifics and requirements. The Made in Russia festival and fair in Harbin will be held in China for the fifth time. During the four previous fairs, we organized more than 1,200 targeted negotiations with Russian manufacturers offering certified high-quality goods at competitive prices for Chinese entrepreneurs," Tatyana An, REC Vice President.
In Harbin, products from more than 100 Russian manufacturers from 50 regions of the country will be presented on an area of more than 1,000 square meters. The range includes a variety of food products, drinks, cosmetics, dietary supplements, jewelry and souvenirs. In the tasting zone, representatives of Chinese businesses will be able to try and purchase products that are also available for purchase in Made in Russia national stores on leading Chinese marketplaces. For the first time, a cyber zone will also be organized with Russian IT developments and gaming industry projects.
"The Made in Russia brand is becoming increasingly recognizable on the Chinese market. Customers actively choose products marked with the "bird" [the Made in Russia brand logo] and remain confident in their quality and origin. Achieving trust in the highly competitive Chinese market is a merit of the Russian Export Center team. Regular fairs held by REC are not only for exhibition and sale of goods, but also a large-scale cultural and educational festival, a bridge between two peoples. I am confident that the upcoming festival in Harbin will be held with an even greater reach of visitors, attract the sincere interest of Chinese partners and friends," Zhou Liqun, Chairman of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia.
Russian Export Center has already held four Made in Russia festivals and fairs in China. The first event was held in Shenyang and Dalian (Liaoning Province) on the eve of the Chinese New Year in 2024, the second in May in Harbin (Heilongjiang Province), and the third in November in Chengdu (Sichuan Province).
