Drinks with a Siberian character: Tomsk-based Kakheti received the Made in Russia certificate

The Tomsk-based Kakheti has been producing a variety of beverages, from sodas and juices to signature liqueurs, for over 20 years. Over the past eight years, more than 80,000 tons of products have been produced in Russia and abroad. The company will continue its development with a Made in Russia certificate from Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) awarded in the Reliability category.

Certified beverages include non-alcoholic, highly carbonated drinks with juice, such as Honeysuckle, Blackcurrant, Rosehip; Honeysuckle, Cranberry; Honeysuckle; Sea Buckthorn, Mango; Sea Buckthorn; as well as sweet cloudy liqueurs Sea Buckthorn; Currant, and fruit alcoholic products Honeysuckle and Blackcurrant.

The company's history began in 2002 with the production of classic grape and fruit wines. Step by step, the company expanded its product line. In 2017, wines made from Siberian berries were introduced, followed by liqueurs and ciders in 2024. And in 2025, the company launched non-alcoholic carbonated drinks made from honeysuckle and sea buckthorn.

Kakheti took its first steps into the international market in 2016. Participating in exhibitions and establishing contacts with foreign partners helped the company expand its export business. Support from Russian Export Center played a significant role.

"We encountered a number of challenges on our path to foreign markets, namely a lack of experience in foreign economic activity, difficulties with certification, and low brand recognition abroad. However, thanks to our collaboration with Russian Export Center and My Export platform, we were able to successfully overcome these obstacles," Lyudmila Kiseleva, Director for Development.

The company's products are currently exported to China, South Korea, and Kazakhstan. Demand for these products is particularly high in China. Unique local ingredients, natural formulas, and signature recipes ensure their success in competitive markets.

Kakheti plans to expand its geographic presence. Near-term plans include entering the UAE, Vietnam, and India. The company is also working on developing new flavors and beverage formats to strengthen its position in the natural products segment.

"In recent years, Russian wine exports have demonstrated steady growth, supported by a significant improvement in the quality of domestic products. The introduction of modern technologies, strict quality control, and careful positioning have enabled our wines to gain recognition in international markets," Elena Bragova, Head of REC Representative Office in Novosibirsk.

The Made in Russia mark is an official quality mark, guaranteeing the high standards and quality of products developed and manufactured in the Russian Federation.
