Ryazan-based Inpharm Confirmed the Reliability of Its Products and Increased Exports with Made in Russia Certificates and REC Services

The products of the Ryazan-based Inpharm, which includes medical devices for cosmetology under the Gion brand (fillers, biorevitalizers) and for orthopedics under the Giapro brand (biopolymer synovial fluid prostheses), will now be even more recognizable to consumers and partners. The company has successfully undergone Made in Russia certification in the reliability category. The certificate was issued for the company's key medical products: the "Sterile Biopolymer Synovial Fluid Prosthesis" and the "Sterile Biopolymer Implant for Intradermal Administration."

Founded in 2016, Inpharm began its export operations in 2021 with product registration in Kyrgyzstan. Today, its export geography also includes Uzbekistan, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, where the inclusion of Inpharm's products, which demonstrate exceptional efficacy at an affordable price, in social projects to improve public health is being explored.

However, the company faced significant barriers to expanding its exports, difficulties finding reliable partners, adapting documents to new legislation, and even an attempt to steal technology in the UAE. The main obstacle to full-scale expansion into a number of countries remains the lack of CE certification.

Inpharm found a solution to these challenges in collaboration with Russian Export Center and My Export digital platform. Since 2022, the company has been actively using:

Deferred payment insurance for SMEs, which has reduced financial risks and streamlined interactions with foreign partners. The solution is designed to protect exporters from the risk of non-payment by foreign counterparties for deliveries of up to 10 million rubles.

A certificate of free sale, which is required for product registration in international markets and for export shipments. Russian Export Center has exclusive authority to issue this type of document.

A certificate of origin, which confirms the goods' origin in the country of manufacture. This document may be required by contract terms. Presenting the certificate to customs authorities in countries that offer preferential treatment may reduce customs duties and, in certain cases, exempt the shipment from them entirely.

"Business development directly depends on the active implementation of innovations and the expansion of export potential. State support plays a key role in creating a favorable environment, stimulating investment and providing access to new markets. We are confident that joint business and government efforts will strengthen the economy and open up new prospects on the international stage," company's CEO noted.

Thanks to these measures, Inpharm has achieved impressive results: a 35% increase in export contracts over the past two years, entry into four new foreign markets, and an increase in supply volumes.

Inpharm also continues to actively work on expanding export directions and, despite current challenges with certification, sees great potential in neighboring countries, relying on the proven quality of its products and the systematic support of Russian Export Center.

A free Made in Russia certificate confirms the high standards and quality of products designed and manufactured in the Russian Federation. To get it, the company does not need to undergo additional checks by Russian Export Center. The certificate is awarded based on five key criteria, namely quality, reliability, uniqueness, environmental friendliness, and organic origin. Furthermore, as part of the bonus package for Made in Russia certificate holders, training is available at Rospatent on intellectual property protection, allowing companies to more successfully complete all procedures for international brand and technology registration.
