Alexander Saneyev, head of the Rostov-on-Don representative office, gave a panel discussion on the theme "Made in Russia: National Brands Driving Export Growth" at the PROM-ENERGY-VOLGA'26 forum in Volgograd.
Saneyev introduced the "Made in Russia" program, its tools, and the opportunities it offers to exporters. He emphasized that in a highly competitive global environment, brand awareness of a country and its products is becoming a key factor in success or failure, and this program enables Russian manufacturers to enter the international market with a single, easily identifiable, and trustworthy quality mark.
He also discussed the practical applications of certification. He pointed out that "Made in Russia" certification enables regional manufacturers to access government support measures, collective participation in major international exhibitions, and priority exposure in the international market. This helps reduce promotion costs, increase brand awareness, and accelerate entry into new markets.
The "Made in Russia" program provides enterprises with services such as participation in international exhibitions and festivals, online and offline retail channel promotion, overseas media public relations support, and blogger promotion. These tools help Russian manufacturers gain a foothold in overseas markets and increase export volume.
Alexander Saneev points out: "In a highly competitive global environment, the brand awareness of a country and its products is becoming a decisive factor in the success of exporters. The "Made in Russia" program enables Russian manufacturers to enter the international market with a single, easily recognizable, and trustworthy quality mark."
In addition to delivering a keynote speech, Alexander Saneev moderated two forums—"New International Logistics: Routes, Supply Chains, and Solutions" and "Export Finance: Banks, Russian Export Centers, and Government Subsidies"—showcasing financial solutions from EXIMBANK OF RUSSIA and EXIAR.
An awards ceremony for the regional "Exporter of the Year" competition was also held during the forums. The event brought together representatives from businesses, development agencies, and government bodies interested in developing the region's export potential.
