With the support of the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group), several companies from the Chelyabinsk region are participating in the 18th International Food and Hospitality Industry Exhibition, Profood Armenia 2026. The event is taking place in the Armenian capital from June 19 to 21.
Russian manufacturers are presenting grocery products, snacks, seasonings, and spices. A roundtable discussion was held during the event, where participants discussed promising industries for introducing products to the Armenian market, the level and structure of competition, and the REC's support tools for small and medium businesses.
"The Armenian market is demonstrating high demand for Russian goods. This is due to the historically established relations between the two countries, Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which allows for significant reductions in trade costs, and the high quality of Russian products, which Armenian consumers value highly. Participation in the Profood Armenia exhibition gives Russian exporters the opportunity to find new partners and increase supply volumes," noted Vigen Yenokyan, Head of the REC Representative Office in Armenia.
The Profood Armenia exhibition is one of the key industry platforms in the South Caucasus. The event brings together food producers, equipment suppliers, and hospitality industry representatives.
Russian companies, with the support of the Russian Export Center, are using this platform to expand their supply chains and find new partners in the hotel, restaurant, and catering sectors.
Applications for participation in international exhibitions and business missions under the national brand "Made in Russia" can be submitted through the digital government platform "My Export" (Gosuslugi VED).
