Russia 24’s host Anton Borisov has become an ambassador for the Made in Russia brand

September 4, 2025
Russia 24’s host Anton Borisov has joined the ambassadors for the Made in Russia national brand, a state program promoting domestic products. Veronika Nikishina, General Director of Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group), presented the journalist with the certificate on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.

Anton Borisov hosts his own Made in Russia program, which airs biweekly on the Russia 24 television channel. Developed in partnership with Russian Export Center, the project, now in its second year, explores the successes of Russian manufacturers, the challenges facing business and the economy, and new opportunities for companies amid the transformation of global trade.

During this time, the Russia 24 team traveled to dozens of cities across the country and visited nearly a hundred manufacturing facilities, from high-tech factories to family-run workshops that are successfully operating in foreign markets or are just preparing to enter the export market with high-quality, competitive products.

"It's important for us not only to develop export but also to shape the image of an open, modern, and diverse Russia. We want the world to understand that Made in Russia is a sign of quality and reliability, unique products, and strong brands to be proud of. The Made in Russia films have become part of a broader conversation about the national brand, showcasing success stories that inspire businesses and our citizens to new achievements," Veronika Nikishina, General Director, Russian Export Center.

"It's a great honor for me to become a Made in Russia brand ambassador. Over the two years we've been working on the program, we've seen how diverse and competitive Russian products are, from food and clothing to sophisticated equipment and IT solutions. The success stories of our manufacturers should be as widely recognized as possible both at home and abroad," Anton Borisov.

The Ambassador Program is a key element for promoting the Made in Russia national brand as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. This tool engages not only companies but also prominent figures from the worlds of culture, sports, and media, helping to shape a positive image of Russian business abroad.

The Made in Russia program is being implemented as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. It is coordinated by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Russian Export Center is responsible for the program's implementation and support.

Since 2022, thanks to the program, over 3,700 companies have been able to increase their visibility, find partners and buyers, and gain a foothold in foreign markets. Export contracts worth over 420 billion rubles have been signed.

In 2025, the Government, at the instruction of the President, adopted an updated Made in Russi" program, expanding the range of available promotional tools. New formats emerged, such as Made in Russia festivals and fairs, which help introduce products from food to children's goods and handicrafts to foreign buyers, online streaming, and much more.
