Exporters from Vladimir Learned How the Made in Russia Brand Facilitates Entering Global Markets

On December 11, Vladimir Investment Congress 2025 opened at Suzdal Arena. The key event of the International Day in the Vladimir Region was the Foreign Economic Activity of the Vladimir Region: A Breakthrough Strategy plenary session. Grigory Ladyshev, head of the regional office of Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group), spoke about how comprehensive support provided by the REC Group helps Russian companies, especially small and medium-sized businesses, overcome external challenges and increase exports. He emphasized that a strong national brand is the foundation of a successful promotion strategy.

"The Made in Russia national brand promotion program is a key tool confirming reliability of domestic manufacturers and safety of their products. It is more than just a marketing ploy; it helps our companies enter global markets, generating sustainable interest in their products among international buyers. We encourage regional manufacturers to actively join in it to be associated with a guarantee of quality and reliability," Grigory Ladyshev.

Particular emphasis was placed on digitalization of export processes. Russian Export Center is consistently building a unified digital ecosystem on My Export platform. It operates as a one-stop shop, providing online access to a full range of government and business services, which is critical for accelerating SMEs' entry into global markets. On the platform, exporters can access everything from market research and foreign partner searches to customs clearance consultations.

Grigory Ladyshev detailed the wide range of services available to exporters. The Russian Export Center Group, which includes EXIAR and Eximbank of Russia, provides comprehensive financial support:

-Insurance of foreign trade transactions, including short-term accounts receivable and deferred payment for SMEs.
-Credit and guarantee support and provision of sureties.

"It's crucial for businesses to have the most of the extensive tools from the Russian Export Center Group at hand. We've developed comprehensive solutions to enable companies, whether manufacturers of high-tech equipment or agricultural products, to effectively promote their products in foreign markets. Our goal is to make export accessible and understandable for every entrepreneur," Grigory Ladyshev.

The International Day ended with an important procurement session attended by delegations from Vietnam, India, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan, and a regional awards ceremony for the Exporter of the Year 2024 competition.

Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) is a government institution that supports non-resource, non-energy export. It provides companies from various industries with both financial and non-financial assistance at all stages of entering international markets, including as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. Most services offered by the REC Group are available online on My Export digital platform. Businesses have access to training on all aspects of export activities through the REC Export School, part of the Group. REC is also responsible for the key functions of supporting and implementing the Made in Russia program.
