Three-time Olympic synchronized swimming champion and TV presenter Maria Kiseleva has joined the ambassadors for the Made in Russia national brand. Veronika Nikishina, General Director of Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group), presented her with a certificate confirming this status on September 14 at the Rowing Canal in Moscow.
"It's a great honor for me to become a Made in Russia brand ambassador. I'm proud of our country and believe in the creative spirit that has always inspired athletes to victory. This force drives forward not only us, but also our industry, creative industries, high technology, IT, and more. I'm delighted that I'll be representing our country again, although in a new capacity," Maria Kiseleva.
The Ambassador Program is an important tool for promoting the Made in Russia national brand, implemented as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. It engages not only companies but also prominent figures from the worlds of culture, sports, and media in shaping a positive image of Russian business abroad.
Maria Kiseleva is a three-time Olympic champion, three-time world champion, and nine-time European champion. She is an Honored Master of Sports of Russia. She has been awarded the Order of Honor, the Order For Merit to the Fatherland (IV degree), the Medal of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland (I degree), and also received letters of gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation. She is the President of the Moscow Synchronized Swimming Federation, Director of the M. Kiseleva Synchronized Swimming Center, and Director of the Russian Water Theater.
The Made in Russia program is coordinated by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Russian Export Center is primarily responsible for its implementation. Over the past three years, more than 3,700 unique companies have received support under the program, with the volume of supported export reaching 420 billion rubles. In 2025, the Russian Government, at the direction of the President, adopted an updated program that expanded the list of available promotional tools. New formats have emerged, such as festivals and fairs and online streaming, helping to introduce a wide range of Russian goods to foreign buyers, from food products to children's goods and handicrafts.
В своем выступлении Мария Архипова подчеркнула важность национального бренда для укрепления
позиций российских предпринимателей на международной арене. «Наша главная задача — создать
