The potential for export contracts at Innoprom. Saudi Arabia exceeded 8.7 billion rubles

February 13, 2026

Russian companies summarized the preliminary results of their participation in Innoprom. Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. Over the three days of the national exhibition, branded Made in Russia, organized by Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group), participants held over 250 business negotiations.

The international event took place in Riyadh at The Arena Riyadh Venue from February 8 to 10. Thirty-eight leading Russian companies from 15 regions of the country presented their cutting-edge developments at the Russian Export Center's joint stand. The wide geographic reach of the participants—from St. Petersburg and Moscow to the Novosibirsk and Sverdlovsk regions—confirmed the high level of readiness of Russian regions for systematic international expansion.

The exhibition showcased the achievements of Russian engineers across several strategic sectors. In the Smart City and Energy sectors, innovative electrical equipment, modular data centers, and intelligent resource metering systems were on display. The industrial engineering sector showcased equipment for construction mechanization, new composite materials, and additive technologies, including 3D printing. The IT and instrumentation sectors showcased unmanned aerial systems, analytical equipment, and modern cybersecurity solutions.

The exhibition's effectiveness is confirmed by the high quality of networking: 86% of the negotiations conducted were considered targeted by companies. According to a participant survey, the potential for deals based on established contacts alone is estimated at 6.6 billion rubles. The projected total volume of export contracts from all meetings at the stand could reach 8.7 billion rubles, with the average business potential of negotiations alone being approximately 33 million rubles.

Russian Export Center continues to provide systematic support to domestic manufacturers entering Middle Eastern markets. One can view the current schedule of international exhibitions and business missions, as well as apply for government-supported participation, online on My Export digital platform, Events section.

The Events service allows companies to plan exhibition activities in advance, select the most promising sales markets, and track all stages of government support applications in a single personal account.
