BOWL OF CHERRIES has received the voluntary Made in Russia certificate in the reliability category. The home and leisurewear manufacturer is ready to expand its presence in international markets with the support of Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group).
Krasnodar entrepreneur Evgenia Anapolskaya has been developing her own clothing collections since 2019. The unisex pajama line from natural fabrics made under the BOWL OF CHERRIES brand was launched in 2023. The brand already participates in industry exhibitions, fairs and collaborations, and supplies products to a large resort complex in Crimea.
It has applied for the Made in Russia certificate through My Export platform, and also used it to find foreign buyers and select marketplaces.
The entrepreneur initially targeted the export market. “We knew right away that we would be exporting, but didn't know how. Now we are confident that everything is possible," Evgenia Anapolskaya.
To prepare for export, BOWL OF CHERRIES' management studied international markets, demand, and competitors, and obtained the certificate. Before working with Russian Export Center, the main challenge was the lack of information about export activities. The certification opens up opportunities to participate in international fairs and exhibitions, find partners, and enhance company's product profile.
It's worth noting that a company can get a free Made in Russia certificate without undergoing additional checks by Russian Export Center. The certificate is awarded based on five key criteria: quality, reliability, uniqueness, eco-friendliness, and organicity. Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) is a government institution that supports non-resource and non-energy exports. It provides companies from various industries with both financial and non-financial support at all stages of entering international markets, including as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. REC is also responsible for the primary functions of supporting and implementing the Made in Russia program, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia coordinates the program within the International Cooperation and Export national project.
