Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) summarized the results of food and consumer goods international business mission, which took place in Yerevan on March 11–12. Seventeen domestic manufacturers from various regions of the country participated in the event.
Over the course of two days, Russian companies held approximately 150 business meetings with potential partners from Armenia, including representatives of distribution companies, large retail chains, hospitality businesses, industry-specific organizations, and relevant government agencies. Among those participating in the REC business mission were Promprodukt, a manufacturer of oil and fat products, GLS Pharmaceuticals, a manufacturer of dietary supplements, and Quinoa Center, a quinoa producer.
As part of the business program, the mission participants presented their products at the Days of Russian Cuisine, organized with the support of the Russian Embassy in Armenia, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, and Russian Export Center. Russian manufacturers, including Miratorg, Bashspirt, Porcio, and other food industry companies, participated in the culinary program.
"The preliminary estimate of the export potential is 5.5 billion rubles. I am confident that the agreements reached will soon develop into specific export contracts," Vigen Yenokyan, Head of Russian Export Center's office in Armenia.
Russia remains Armenia's key trading partner. According to Russian government data, trade turnover between the two countries exceeded 617 billion rubles by the end of 2025.
