The Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) will participate in organizing and hosting the Creative Economy Days Forum, which will be held in St. Petersburg from October 28 to 30. This collaboration aims to support the Russian creative industries and promote their products in the international market.
This exhibition will showcase 18 companies that have received the "Made in Russia" certification, including Dimov Ceramics, Gusevsky Maltsov Crystal Factory, Gzhely Association, and Royal Porcelain Factory, and will display their projects. In addition, the exhibition will present collaborative projects between fashion designers and folk art and handicrafts, such as Monochrome, Alyona Akhmadulina, and Khokhloma Trading Company. The exhibition will also feature projects from renowned film studios such as the Union Animation Film Studio and Leningrad Film Studio, as well as projects from OKKO itself.
In addition, the Russian Export Center will host a live-streamed showcase of Russian cosmetics and dietary supplements for Chinese buyers from October 29th to 30th. This event is part of the "Made in Russia" project by the Russian National Store. Chinese blogger Ning Laoban will host the live stream and introduce products from six Russian manufacturers. The live-stream format allows companies to test demand in the Chinese market and secure initial orders without having to conduct internal advertising campaigns.
The collaboration between the Russian Export Center and the Creative Economy Days Forum allows us to combine the strengths of government and businesses to jointly promote Russian creative brands. St. Petersburg boasts a rich tradition of design and craftsmanship, but expanding into international markets requires systematic support. The "Make in Russia" program, implemented by the Russian Export Center, provides manufacturers with practical tools such as certification, participation in exhibitions worldwide, and involvement in exchange programs with foreign companies. "We see that this comprehensive approach enables creative projects to become independent export brands," notes Olga Konosh, head of the Russian Export Center's St. Petersburg office.
