Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) organized a series of pitch sessions at the Made in Russia group stand at GITEX Africa 2026, which took place in Marrakech from April 7 to 9. Nine Russian companies participated, presenting their solutions to Moroccan market players and government officials.
The presentations took place on April 7 and 8. Four Russian manufacturers presented on the first day. TKS presented videoconferencing solutions under the TrueConf brand. Multipass showcased EMV readers (devices for capturing data from payment cards), public transportation fare validators, and vending POS terminals (equipment for accepting cashless payments) under the Vendotek brand.
According to the company, more than 250,000 of its devices are currently in operation worldwide.
The Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ISP RAS) demonstrated two medical AI developments. The first is diagnostic software for neural network classification of ECGs. The second system, called Melanoscope AI, is designed for the early detection of melanoma using dermatoscopy images.
On the second day of the exhibition, Tinisio presented a cloud-based ERP system (enterprise resource planning software) adapted for the Moroccan market. Furthermore, Intex, together with the Higher School of Economics, announced the E-Governance Knowledge Sharing Program, which aims to exchange experience between Russia and African countries in the development and implementation of digital government services.
Eltex from Novosibirsk spoke about network telecommunications equipment. Company's International Projects Manager, Lev Shcherbin, presented the concept of a single vendor for building communications networks and its main equipment lines.
Moroccan system integrators, telecom operators, and representatives of relevant ministries participated in the pitch sessions.
Russian exporters receive comprehensive support from Russian Export Center Group, represented by Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR) and EXIMBANK OF RUSSIA, whose financial instruments are in demand when entering foreign markets, including Africa.
Russian Export Center, a state-run support institution for the National Economy, provides Russian companies with financial and non-financial assistance at all stages of entering international markets. Support measures include compensation for logistics costs, export risk insurance, and promotion under the Made in Russia national brand. Most services are available on My Export digital platform.
