Novosibirsk-based Yodometics, a developer and manufacturer of natural cosmetics, has successfully completed certification under the Made in Russia national brand promotion program by Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group), confirming the high quality standards of products created by scientists in Novosibirsk's Akademgorodok.
Founded in 2018, Yodometics LLC specializes in the manufacturing of products under the Yodometics brand. Company's production is based on scientific innovations from institutes in Akademgorodok and the Koltsovo science city. A team of biochemists, led by the brand's founder, Anna Syzranova, has developed a line of cosmetics containing iodine compounds designed to prevent iodine deficiency.
The Made in Russia certificate is issued for a wide range of products (HS code 3304): creams, masks, serums, shampoos, and other face, body, and hair care products. These products contain not only natural plant and algae extracts but also high-tech components such as peptides, triterpene acids, and provitamins.
The company has been actively developing its foreign economic activity since 2019. Despite the challenges of the pandemic and changes in supply chains, Yodometics continues to expand its presence in the Belarusian and Georgian markets. Company's immediate plans include entering the markets of Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.
The company effectively addresses its foreign trade needs through the My Export state-run digital platform. Specifically, the company obtained certificates of origin for export to Georgia. It has also participated in international exhibitions in Türkiye and Uzbekistan with the support of the regional Export Support Center.
"Developing a natural cosmetics business is impossible without government support. Thanks to the initiatives of government agencies and support institutions, we can expand import substitution, increase production, and create unique formulas that are in demand abroad. Export allows us to showcase the achievements of the Russian cosmetics market to the world and strengthen the position of domestic producers on the international stage," Anna Syzranova, CEO, Yodometics LLC.
Obtaining the certificate was a strategic step for the brand. The company's management plans to integrate the bird logo to its product labels, confident that the official quality mark will increase the level of trust in the Russian brand among international customers and partners.
The high quality of Yodometics has been repeatedly confirmed by the professional community: the brand is the winner of numerous awards (Green Awards, My Cosmetics, Gemma Gold Medal) and has twice been awarded the Novosibirsk Brand Award.
The Made in Russia program aims to increase the recognition of Russian brands abroad. The reliability certificate grants the right to use the Made in Russia logo and priority support for promotion in foreign markets. To receive a free Made in Russia certificate, a company does not need to undergo additional checks by Russian Export Center. The certificate is awarded based on five key criteria: quality, reliability, uniqueness, eco-friendliness, and organicity. For more information about the Made in Russia program and the requirements for obtaining the certificate, please visit the REC website.
