Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) and the Government of the Saratov Region signed a supplementary agreement to the agreements reached at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2024. The document aims to consistently increase the region's non-resource, non-energy exports and improve the digital business support infrastructure.
The key focus of the new phase of cooperation is the implementation of a Digital Export Support Standard in the Saratov Region. By the end of 2026, regional support measures, published in the Unified Service Catalogue of My Export platform, will become available online. This will provide companies in the region with quick access to support tools, help reduce time and operational costs, and build effective export development efforts using the resources of Russian Export Center and regional programs.
The agreement places special emphasis on promoting the Made in Russia national brand. Plans call for more active involvement of Saratov-based companies in the program, increasing the number of enterprises that receive the relevant certificate, and creating additional opportunities for promoting regional products abroad.
At this stage, significant work has already been completed to promote the systems with in-demand services for export-oriented companies. This has significantly simplified business access to support tools and made the process of obtaining them more transparent.
"Developing exports in the Saratov Region is a key priority of our economic policy. The region boasts many unique companies with high export potential, including those focused on technological leadership. Collaborating with Russian Export Center will take support for our region's exporters to a new level. The introduction of digital solutions and the expansion of promotional tools create additional opportunities for entering and establishing a foothold in international markets," Roman Busargin, Saratov Region Governor.
Furthermore, the document provides for the implementation of Regional Export Standard 3.0 in the region. It is intended to create favorable conditions for export activities and provide systematic support to companies at all stages of entering foreign markets.
"We are consistently building a unified export support system, combining regional and federal measures into a business-friendly framework. The Saratov Region is demonstrating a high level of engagement in this work. Consolidating our efforts will expand the presence of regional companies in international markets and enhance their competitiveness," Veronika Nikishina, General Director of Russian Export Center.
