Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) provided over 140 billion Russian rubles in foreign trade support to Belarus in 2025. This was announced by Viktor Doronkevich, head of the REC representative office in the Republic of Belarus, at the 3rd National Dairy Congress in Minsk.
"In 2025, the REC Group provided financial, non-financial, and agency support to 1,702 foreign trade participants in 2,749 transactions worth over 140 billion rubles as part of our cooperation with the Republic of Belarus. We focus on identifying new niches and partners for collaboration, specifically on import substitution, industrial cooperation, and increasing equipment supplies," Viktor Doronkevich, head of the REC representative office in the Republic of Belarus.
Russian Export Center (REC) places particular emphasis on supporting the dairy industry. Under a memorandum of cooperation signed with the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE), REC involves Russian manufacturers to participate in exchange trading of dairy products and tenders.
According to the head of the rep office, Export Support Centers (ESCs) operate in Russia's regions and provide direct assistance by verifying contractors and selecting manufacturers for specific needs.
"Last year, companies from 32 Russian regions participated in dairy product exchange trading offered by Russian Export Center (REC), compared to 22 a year ago. Dairy manufacturers from Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Tver Region, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Samara Region, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Pskov Region, the Chechen Republic, Chelyabinsk Region, and Ryazan Region began trading on the Belarusian exchange for the first time," Viktor Doronkevich.
The head of the REC representative office also spoke to congress participants about the Made in Russia program for the comprehensive promotion of Russian goods and services abroad, My Export digital platform services, cross-border payment solutions from the REC Group and its subsidiary, EXIMBANK OF RUSSIA JSC, and insurance tools for foreign trade participants.
"The growing quality of Belarusian products and the strengthening Made in Russia brand fully meet the needs of consumers in both countries and are consistent with the strategic development goals of the Union State," Viktor Doronkevich.
Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) is a government institution that supports non-resource, non-energy export.
