Following the results of the Made in Russia festival and fair in Harbin Russian exporters signed three export contracts worth a total of 1.8 billion rubles. The contracts cover the supply of biologically active supplements made from seaweed, vegetable oils, peas, and flour.
A letter of intent was signed by a company producing pastila and apple rusks. The company is benefiting from support from Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group), including the Made in Russia certificate, promotion through national stores on Chinese e-commerce platforms, and negotiation support.
"Our festival in Harbin once again demonstrates the high effectiveness of the Made in Russia program. Russian exporters who benefit from REC support continue to develop in foreign markets, including China," Veronika Nikishina, General Director, REC.
Kaliningrad amber, Amur honey, and Yakut non-ferrous metal products were the top offline sales during the festival. Their combined revenue exceeded 2 million rubles. Total offline sales at the Made in Russia festival in Harbin amounted to 4.5 million rubles.
Traditionally, Russian confectionery, jewelry, and dietary supplements lead offline sales at the Made in Russia festival.
The "Made in Russia" festival and fair is a large-scale event held as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. It is organized by Russian Export Center (REC). The event is taking place in Harbin from May 17 to 21, concurrently with the Tenth Russia-China Expo, at the Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair. Harbin is hosting the festival for the third year in a row. Since 2024, REC has organized seven such events in China.
