KAMA JSC, the developer of the Atom electric vehicle, received the Made in Russia certificate fr om Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group). The certificate was awarded for quality and reliability of ADAS L2 technology, an advanced active driver assistance system that enables the vehicle to “think on the move”. The Made in Russia certificate confirms development's compliance with high quality standards. REC certification will accelerate technology export to countries in Asia, the Middle East, and the Eurasian Economic Union, wh ere there is already demand for domestic high-tech solutions. ADAS Level 2 automation is adapted to the Russian climate and assists with driving, analyzes traffic conditions, warns of hazards, and takes over some routine tasks in traffic jams, on the highway, or when maneuvering in a parking lot. The system is already integrated into the Atom electric vehicle and can also be integrated into vehicles from other manufacturers.
"REC’s certification process was surprisingly transparent and convenient, with no unnecessary bureaucratic barriers. We received more than just a quality mark, but a real lever for accelerating our export strategy. REC's support allows us to enter markets in Asia, the Middle East, and the Eurasian Economic Union with a verified product that inspires confidence among foreign partners from the very first contact," Roman Shvedov, Head of Security and Strategic Communications, Atom.
The total cost of the Atom electric vehicle project is 58 billion rubles. Of this amount, 24 billion rubles will be allocated by VEB.RF and PSB through the Project Finance Factory, with 17 billion rubles already allocated. The Made in Russia mark confirms the high standards and quality of products developed and manufactured in the Russian Federation.
