Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) summarized the participation of 19 Russian companies in the Made in Russia joint stand at GITEX Africa 2026, which took place in Marrakech from April 7 to 9. Following the business program and pitch sessions, participants held over 340 targeted negotiations with potential partners from African countries.
The combined export potential, preliminarily estimated following the meetings, exceeded 2.6 billion rubles. The exhibition showcased developments in AI, UAVs, cybersecurity, and financial technology. Two exhibitors, SpetsPromDesign and Telecor have Made in Russia certificates.
"African partners are interested in comprehensive technological solutions, and Russian companies are ready to offer them. The extensive experience of Russian players is in demand in African markets to ensure the diversification and independence of digital infrastructure," Alexey Mudrakov, REC Director for Client Relations.
It’s worth noting that the volume of Russian IT solutions exported exceeded 210 billion rubles in 2025. Exporters receive comprehensive support from Russian Export Center Group, including Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR), Eximbank of Russia, and the Export School.
Russian Export Center, a state-run support institution for the National Economy, provides Russian companies with financial and non-financial assistance at all stages of entering international markets.
