The twentieth Made in Russia store opened in China. This is the chain's second store in Shanghai with a full-service bakery. The first opened on April 18th and, in just one week, showed that demand for hot baked goods remains consistently high. The new store will offer a full-service bakery with hand-formed and fermented dough, fresh baked goods daily in small batches, a 20% discount on the entire product range to celebrate the opening, a stream on Douyin with special offers, and a street show with tastings and performances. According to Alexey Solodov, Vice President of Russian Export Center, “Chinese consumers are increasingly choosing products with a clear history, transparent origin, and guaranteed quality. The bakery in the new store is a cultural and gastronomic bridge where tradition meets modern retail standards. We see great potential in this live production format and plan to integrate it into chain's new projects in China."
Two shops with hot baked goods in a month proves that live production format clearly appealed to the Chinese!
