In today's agro-industrial complex, success increasingly depends on innovation and environmental friendliness. A striking example is the Novosibirsk-based VerdaTerra LLC (TERRA 7), which demonstrates how Russian organic farming technologies are gaining global recognition. This developer and manufacturer of highly effective bioproducts not only became the top agricultural exporter in its region but also received the Made in Russia certificate for reliability.
VerdaTerra specializes in the production of TERRA 7 ballast-free humic concentrates for crop production and TERRA DS feed additives for livestock. The main competitive advantage of these products is their exceptional purity and consistent quality. The company achieves this through its own state-of-the-art production facility, which includes a reactor for precise control of the carbon oxidation process. The effectiveness of these bio-products has been proven in practice: partners in Russia and abroad regularly report significant increases in the yield and quality of agricultural products.
VerdaTerra's export strategy is characterized by systematic and long-term planning. In 2023, the company was recognized as the best agricultural exporter at the regional stage of the Exporter of the Year competition in the Novosibirsk region. Company's export geography currently covers Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Vietnam, and Azerbaijan.
China is a key market for the Siberian company. In May 2025, the company opened its own office in Yunnan Province, China, and registered the TERRA 7 trademark there. This isn't just a fact, but a necessary step to protect the brand and ensure sales legitimacy in one of the world's most challenging markets. Furthermore, active work is underway to find partners and develop logistics for entering the Saudi Arabian and African markets.
VerdaTerra's systematic export development has been made possible by a long-standing partnership with government support institutions. For over five years, the company has been actively collaborating with the Novosibirsk Region Export Support Center (part of the Russian Export Center ecosystem), which has enabled it to engage in targeted foreign economic activity.
To overcome barriers and accelerate entry into new markets, the company actively uses the services of My Export digital platform. In 2021, the company registered a trademark on a platform and participated in a business mission to Vietnam, which ultimately resulted in the signing of its first contracts. VerdaTerra currently uses free-sale certification services, actively participates in specialized exhibitions, and displays its products in national pavilions abroad.
"For us, business development is inextricably linked to export expansion. The Made in Russia certificate isn't just an award. It's a valuable tool that opens doors to new markets, particularly in Asia. We see enormous potential in countries that value high-tech and environmentally friendly solutions for the agricultural sector. At the same time, the role of government support through Export Support Centers and national programs is fundamental to us—it's the reliable foundation that allows Russian manufacturers to confidently compete globally," Ruslan Salimgareev, CEO, VerdaTerra.
Russian Export Center noted that VerdaTerra, which began as a small regional operation, is now an example of how innovation and systemic government support can help not only expand into export but also successfully establish a presence in the world's most complex and competitive markets.
The Made in Russia mark confirms the high standards and quality of products developed and manufactured in the Russian Federation. To receive a free Made in Russia certificate, a company does not need to undergo additional checks by Russian Export Center. The certificate is awarded based on five key criteria: quality, reliability, uniqueness, environmental friendliness, and organic origin.
