OSQ TRADING LLC (OSQ Group brand), a leader in the full-cycle production of cardboard food packaging, has received a voluntary Made in Russia certificate from Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) in the reliability category.
Founded in 2009, OSQ Group has established itself as a manufacturer of innovative and eco-friendly packaging. With two high-tech production facilities in Vidnoye, Moscow Region, and Kaliningrad, OSQ Group currently collaborates with over 10,000 partners from 65+ countries, supplying a wide range of products: from salad and noodle containers to fast food, sushi, and confectionery packaging. To date, the company has delivered over 13 billion packages.
The Made in Russia certificate in the reliability category was a logical step for the company, which had already proven its quality on a global level. In February 2025, the production site in Vidnoye successfully completed FSSC 22000 audit, version 6.0 (international food safety standard). OSQ Group became the only company in the Russian craft packaging market to hold this international certificate.
OSQ Group products are distinguished by high barrier properties, versatility (microwave and freezer safe), and durable construction. Company's commitment to sustainable development (ESG) is a key element of its strategy.
"Today, business is a broad corporate responsibility. At OSQ Group, we are committed to all areas of sustainable development—environment, social responsibility, and corporate governance. This commitment helps us constantly move forward and lead all our partners and consumers," Evgeny Tokarenko, CEO, OSQ Group.
OSQ Group is actively expanding its export activities. The greatest demand for its products is currently in the CIS countries: Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. The company has already taken significant steps to enter new markets, successfully presenting its innovative solutions at the PLME-2025 (Private Label Middle East) international exhibition in Dubai. Near-term plans include expanding its export reach to Iran, Iraq, and Moldova.
OSQ Group actively uses opportunities offered by Russian Export Center and My Export digital platform. Since 2022, the company has regularly used platform services to obtain certificates of origin and receive government support.
"The work we've done has laid a solid foundation for expanding our presence in the UAE market. We expect these connections to develop into contracts and long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation in the near future," Matvey Kudryavtsev, Export Sales Director, OSQ Group.
The Made in Russia mark confirms the high standards and quality of products developed and manufactured in the Russian Federation. To receive a free Made in Russia certificate, a company does not need to undergo additional checks by Russian Export Center. The certificate is awarded based on five key criteria: quality, reliability, uniqueness, environmental friendliness, and organic origin.
