National Made in Russia Exposition at Gulfood-2026

February 2, 2026
Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) presented a large-scale national Made in Russia exposition at Gulfood 2026, the world's largest food industry exhibition, which opened in Dubai. The Russian exposition area doubled compared to last year, reaching 2,080 square meters. The exposition under the national brand Made in Russia at Gulfood 2026 will be a record-breaking one in terms of both the number of participants and space. Compared to the previous exhibition, the number of exhibitors has increased from 115 to 139 companies from 40 Russian regions, and the space has doubled from 1,068 square meters last year to display the full diversity of the Russian agricultural sector. Today, the booth offers a wide variety of products: baby food (fruit pieces, cookies, purees, cereals), cooked and frozen crabs, freeze-dried berries, vegan gluten-free products, a wide selection of grains and legumes, protein sweets, various drinks, flavored oils, and delicacies such as red caviar, salmon jerky, sauces, and pickled vegetables. Russian livestock products presented at Gulfood 2026 meet strict halal standards. For example, Cherkizovo Group brought processed chicken and turkey meat products to the exhibition this year. Miratorg brought beef and chicken, and Damate brought semi-finished turkey and duck products. Logika Moloka and EkoNiva brought milk, cheeses, and butter. This paves the way for a gradual shift in the structure of agricultural exports in favor of Russian brands with high added value. The opening of the Russian expositions was attended by Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut and General Director of Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina. "The Middle East provides high-quality standards and requirements, and our manufacturers always strive to meet them. I am confident that Russian products are among the highest quality in the world. Of course, halal products are a separate category at the exhibition. Russia receives new certificates every year. Last year, we received approval for halal products in four more countries," Oksana Lut. "Gulfood-2026 is important for unlocking the potential of Russian agricultural exporters. Organizing collective Made in Russia stands is one of the key support measures. Russian Export Center (REC) co-finances companies' expenses, organizes negotiations, and provides support to participants. The Gulf countries, particularly the UAE as a regional hub, are a strategic destination for Russian export companies. We are the leader in grain exports here, and there is also high demand for confectionery, butter, poultry, and beef. We have scheduled over 900 meetings with potential partners for our exporters to find buyers for Russian products," Veronika Nikishina, General Director, REC. Meetings are planned with partners from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt, India, Oman, and other countries. Gulfood 2026, taking place in Dubai from January 26-30, is the world's largest food exhibition and will become even larger in 2026. More than 5,500 exhibitors and over 100,000 visitors are expected at the exhibition. For those interested in learning about upcoming business events and government support opportunities, REC offers the Events service on My Export platform. This section features business exhibitions and missions eligible for government support, taking place in the EAEU, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. A convenient filter system allows to quickly find a suitable event by country, industry, market, date, or event name. On the service's main page, events are displayed chronologically, with the application deadline immediately visible. Each event card contains all the information an exporter needs, including the industries covered, the purpose of the event, and the business program.
