Interactive childhood from Rostov-on-Don: bimbo publishing house enters the world market with a Made in Russia certificate

Children's literature with a Russian soul and unique interactive technologies is a good export product. Rostov-based publishing house BimBo (Arkol LLC) has received a voluntary Made in Russia certificate from Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group). The certificate was awarded in the reliability category for children's books.

The history of the Arkol printing house began in 1996 with a small copy center. Over nearly three decades, the company has evolved from black-and-white prints to a powerful printing complex capable of producing up to 500,000 books monthly.

In 2021, building on this experience, BimBo Publishing House was founded, focusing on premium children's board books. Today, it sells over a million copies annually and is represented in all country's major retail chains, from Detsky Mir to leading marketplaces.
BimBo boasts of its independent production cycle. All books are created by Russian authors and artists without foreign licenses. Unique designs with puzzles, "windows," and complex interactive elements make each book a fully-fledged educational tool.
"BimBo is an honest Russian product. We create our own content, select the best certified materials, and oversee every stage of printing in our own printing house. Receiving the Made in Russia certificate is a logical step, confirming our philosophy of quality and safety," company's management.
The company began exporting in 2025, but the preparations were thorough. Having completed the Export Boost program by Russian Export Center's Export School, the Rostov-on-Don team has presented its books at exhibitions in Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and the UAE.
Currently, the highest demand for Rostov interactive books is in the CIS countries, however, BimBo is already preparing English-language editions to enter Türkiye and the Persian Gulf countries.
