One of the leading soft drink manufacturers in the Urals, NVK Niagara LLC (individual entrepreneur V.O. Tolmachev), has officially confirmed that its products meet the highest national standards. The company has successfully completed voluntary certification by Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) and received the right to label its products with Made in Russia Quality mark.
Company's history began in 2000 in Chelyabinsk. Over the past quarter century, the plant has grown into a modern, high-tech production facility with two sites equipped with automated KRONES production lines. Today, Niagara's portfolio includes over 80 SKUs: from SKANDI functional vitamin-enriched drinks and Yagod Sok natural fruit drinks to the legendary Taezhny Dar line, made with taiga herb extracts.
Company's products have repeatedly won awards at 100 Best Products of Russia, Golden Autumn, and Prodexpo competitions, confirming plant’s reputation as a manufacturer of tasty and safe beverages.
Niagara has been actively operating in foreign markets since 2014. Its distribution network covers Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and China. Company's experience working with China has been quite vivid: Chelyabinsk technologists have adapted recipes to the taste preferences of Chinese consumers and localized the labeling.
"Our secret to success is simple: every single employee loves our products. We manufacture delicious, high-quality drinks that are in demand by customers both in Russia and abroad," Company's management.
The Made in Russia certificate opens a new stage in Niagara's foreign trade development. The company plans to expand its presence in Southeast Asia and the Middle East, including Vietnam, India, and Iran.
The company is confident that the "bird” sign which is the recognizable logo of the national brand will help increase the loyalty of foreign distributors and become an additional argument in favor of choosing a high-quality Russian product on the shelves of foreign retailers.
Collaboration with Russian Export Center allowed the company not only to achieve prestigious status but also to optimize its business processes. Through My Export digital platform, the company interacts with government development institutions, helping it to develop new markets and reduce logistics costs.
"The main advice for aspiring exporters is to thoroughly research target market, don't be afraid to adapt products, and be sure to utilize REC's support to build international contacts," Alexander Vorfolomeev, Head of Foreign Economic Activity.
The Made in Russia label confirms the high standards and quality of products developed and manufactured in the Russian Federation. To receive a free Made in Russia certificate, a company does not need to undergo additional inspections by Russian Export Center. The certificate is awarded based on five key criteria: quality, reliability, uniqueness, environmental friendliness, and organic origin. For more information about the Made in Russia program and the certification requirements please visit the REC website.
Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) is a government institution that supports non-resource, non-energy export. Most services offered by the REC Group are available online on My Export digital platform. REC is responsible for the primary functions of supporting and implementing the Made in Russia program, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia coordinates the program within the International Cooperation and Export national project.
