GeoDom, one of the leading cartographic and children's publishing houses in southern Russia, has officially confirmed the high standards of its products. The company successfully completed voluntary certification by Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) and received the right to use the Made in Russia national quality seal in the reliability category.
GeoDom Publishing House began its journey in 2004 in Rostov-on-Don. Over the course of two decades, the company has grown from a specialized manufacturer of maps and atlases into a major educational project. Today, house's product range includes over 600 SKUs, including educational collections, board games, puzzles, and its flagship product, the Flagomania series, beloved by both children and adults.
The company publishes approximately 1 million copies annually. High-quality printing and in-depth content have allowed the publishing house to attract over 300 partners across Russia and abroad.
GeoDom's export history began in 2015 with deliveries to Belarus and Uzbekistan through distribution networks. Today, the company is transitioning to a direct export strategy, adapting its products to the specific needs of foreign markets.
"Printed products have deep, meaningful content. When preparing to enter new markets, we always consider the country's cultural identity. Finding adaptive meanings when editing texts is a complex but highly engaging process that makes our games and manuals accessible and useful to international readers," Alina Yurchenko, brand manager.
REC tools help the company systematically develop its foreign economic activities. The publishing house has been actively using My Export digital platform for several years:
In 2023, the company took part in a major exhibition in Kazakhstan with the support of Russian Export Center.
GeoDom uses financial support to minimize export costs.
Today, GeoDom's products are most in demand in Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Uzbekistan. However, house's ambitions extend far beyond the CIS. Its immediate plans include monitoring the Turkish and UAE markets, as well as active expansion into the BRICS countries.
The company is confident that its status as a participant in the Made in Russia program will provide the necessary image support and help strengthen the position of Russian producers of high-quality educational content abroad.
The Made in Russia mark confirms the high standards and quality of products developed and manufactured in the Russian Federation. To receive a free Made in Russia certificate, a company does not need to undergo additional inspections by Russian Export Center. The certificate is awarded based on five key criteria: quality, reliability, uniqueness, environmental friendliness, and organic origin. For more information about the Made in Russia program and the certification requirements please visit the REC website.
Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) is a government institution that supports non-resource, non-energy export. It provides companies from various industries with both financial and non-financial assistance at all stages of entering international markets, including as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. Most services offered by the REC Group are available online on My Export digital platform. REC is responsible for the primary functions of supporting and implementing the Made in Russia program, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia coordinates the program within the International Cooperation and Export national project.
