Export issues in the non-food market were discussed at the Growth Resources. Retail and Manufacturing Industry Trade Forum.
During the plenary discussion, Household Goods: The Multi-Format Retail Landscape and Diversification Through the Development of Related Segments, participants assessed the current state of the industry, discussed analytical issues and trends in the home improvement and home improvement market, the dynamics of non-food retail regionally, and the prospects for the development of Russian retail in the international market.
Maxim Chapov, Director of Export Support for Construction Materials, Light Industry, and Consumer Goods, Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group), spoke about REC's financial products and non-financial services available to representatives of the consumer goods industry.
The speaker focused on the events and development of a network of national stores as part of a comprehensive program to promote Russian products abroad under the Made in Russia national brand. Considering the international expansion of Russian retail, he also discussed opportunities to protect investments from political risks associated with economic activity in a foreign country through Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR) (part of the REC Group).
The event was also attended by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Union of Independent Chains of Russia, the Russian Hotel Association, the Association of Digital Platforms (ADP), and executives and top managers of manufacturing companies, retailers, and marketplaces such as Lemana PRO, M.Video, Domovaya, L'Etoile, and RWB (United Company Wildberries & Russ). Furthermore, the founder and CEO of DecorStyleGlass shared examples of successful practices in promoting domestic non-food products abroad and collaborating with Russian Export Center Group.
