REC demonstrated industrial technologies from every fifth region of Russia at INNOPROM in Tashkent

April 20, 2026

Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) organized a stand under the Made in Russia national brand as part of the 6th International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM. Central Asia. Its main goal is to help Russian manufacturers entering Central Asian markets by showcasing technological solutions in mechanical engineering, automation, energy, and industrial infrastructure.

The total stand area occupied 640 square meters. It featured approximately 40 companies from every fifth region of Russia. In addition to the two major cities, the largest participants represented the Krasnodar Krai, Samara, Volgograd, Belgorod, and Irkutsk Regions. Seven exhibitors hold the Made in Russia certificates.

Nikita Gusakov, Senior Vice President of Russian Export Center and General Director of Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR), spoke at the INNOPROM. Central Asia business program. He discussed the results of REC Group's activities to support export, key areas of cooperation with Uzbekistan, and the role of the Made in Russia joint stand in promoting domestic technologies in the Central Asian market.

"Last year, nearly 1,600 unique participants in foreign trade received support from the REC Group through 2,800 services, and the volume of supported export exceeded 122.5 million rubles. We serve as a reliable partner for Uzbekistan in establishing strong trade and investment ties in key sectors, including metallurgy, mechanical engineering, and agriculture. The Made in Russia stand today demonstrates innovative developments from across Russia. This is a clear example of Russian businesses' readiness to offer cutting-edge solutions for Central Asia," Nikita Gusakov.

The stand provided developments in the heavy engineering and transport, industrial automation and robotics, building materials and infrastructure solutions, as well as the chemical industry and composite materials.

The heavy engineering and transport includes, in particular, trucks and railway equipment (KAMAZ from Tatarstan, Sinara Transport Machines from Moscow), cranes (NPO Spetskran from Kaliningrad), drilling rigs (Mobilmash from Perm), and all-terrain off-road vehicles (Allianceservice from Krasnoyarsk).

In the field of automation, machine tools, and robotics, manufacturers from Krasnoyarsk (ITS-Sibir) and St. Petersburg (Laser Systems, SmartPackService) presented equipment for metal laser cutting, 3D printing with metal powders, as well as industrial robots and conveyor systems. Moscow-based BaseALT SPO demonstrated industrial software and operating systems.

A significant part of the Made in Russia stand was dedicated to energy and testing equipment. It featured manufacturers of pumping and valve equipment (Temper Rus from Kurgan and SPK Resource from Moscow), high-voltage testing equipment (SKAT Industrial Equipment Plant from Volgograd), circuit breaker and transformer diagnostic systems (Manul from St. Petersburg), and climatic test chambers and microelectronics equipment (OTK from Volgograd).

In the segment of industrial infrastructure and construction, participants from Irkutsk (Intop Pro) and Krasnodar (Promyshlennik) demonstrated industrial flooring solutions and formwork systems. NPF Bastion from St. Petersburg offered equipment for road construction and repair, including bitumen modification units and asphalt mixing plants.

The chemical and polymer materials segment was represented, in particular, by Polyplastic Group (Moscow) offering innovative protective fencing systems made of high-strength polymers, Constanta-2 (Volgograd) offering seals and shut-off valves, and Manro (Samara Region) offering extruders and granulators for polymer processing.

"At the exhibition, we are presenting innovative Polysafe fencing systems for logistics facilities and production sites. They are made of high-strength polymers and, unlike similar systems, are resistant to repeated impact loads, impervious to sunlight, and have a long service life. Their use allows companies to reduce the risk of industrial injuries by up to 80%, preserving property and equipment. Polyplastic Group is the developer of Polysafe systems and the only manufacturer in Russia. The products are used at enterprises across the country, and we have successful implementation experience in Belarus. Thanks to REC support, we are ready to offer our engineering solutions to potential partners in Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries," Iosif Stiblo, Head of Security Engineering Systems, Polyplastic Group.

INNOPROM. Central Asia took place in Tashkent from April 20 to 22 with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Investment and Development of Uzbekistan. To participate in international events supported by Russian Export Center, companies can submit applications digitally through My Export digital platform.

Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group), which also includes Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance (EXIAR), Eximbank of Russia, and Export School, is a government institution that supports non-resource, non-energy export (NRE). It provides companies from various industries with both financial and non-financial assistance at all stages of entering international markets, including within the International Cooperation and Export national project.
