A store selling Russian products under the Made in Russia national brand has opened in Luoyang (Henan Province). It operates in a small-scale wholesale format for the first time. Now, Russian goods will be available not only to retail customers but also to owners of small shops and local retail chains. The project was implemented by Henan Hangcai Industrial Co., Ltd., a regional partner of the National Store of Russian Goods in China, whose development is overseen by Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group).
The new point of sale is the fifth store in Henan Province for the Made in Russia chain. The store is located in Luanchuan County at the intersection of Funyoubei and Gengxin Roads.
The new platform's key feature is a small-scale wholesale format. It's aimed at small and medium-sized Chinese retailers, including owners of convenience stores and regional retail outlets.
"The Russian national pavilion program continues to expand. In Luoyang, our partner is testing a new Made in Russia store format, focused on small bulk purchases. This will expand the presence of Russian products in Chinese retail and facilitate access to Russian goods for local businesses," Alexey Solodov, Vice President, Russian Export Center.
The store offers a wide range of Russian products from more than 30 Russian manufacturers, including food products, confectionery, beverages, household chemicals, and other categories.
The development of the Made in Russia retail network is part of the strategy to promote the national brand in the Chinese market through a network of Russian national pavilions and partner stores.
Today, the Made in Russia retail stores of the Russian National Pavilion network are successfully operating in seven provinces (municipalities) of China: Shanghai, Liaoning Province, Sichuan Province, Heilongjiang Province, Beijing, Tianjin, and Henan.
